BREAKBACK - KICK OFF MEETING

Are still Trade Unions relevant? How can they maintain and strengthen their role?

How can the TUs get in touch with workers in a fragmented society, in the knowledge digitalized economy?

How can TUs customize protections, also for the weakest and most precarious groups?

The kick-off meeting of the BREAK-BACK project took place on April 23rd and 24th 2019 at the CISL National Study Centre in Florence with these significant questions.

The research project involves the CISL together with LSRC ‐ Lithuanian Social Research, QUIT - Sociological Research Centre on Everyday Life and Work (UAB ‐ UNIVERSITAT AUTÒNOMA DE BARCELONA), DSPS - The Department of Political and Social Sciences (University of Florence, FAOS ‐ Employment Relations Research Centre(University of Copenhagen) and DIESIS coop scrl‐fs. The Fondazione Ezio Tarantelli Centro Studi Ricerche e Formazione is BreakBack affiliated partners, while ETUC is the associated partner of the project.
